Polymark is a wholly owned Australian company established in Brisbane, Queensland in 1986.
Polymark is a manufacturer and printer of vinyl and associated products and a specialist in the custom design of such products. Our clients include government departments, schools, hospitals, councils, and businesses - small and large - right across Australia.
All product manufacture, tool making, screenprinting, foil printing and generation of artwork is carried out at our premises in Sumner Park.
We guarantee our clients an excellent quality product, manufactured using the best components available; integrity in business relationships; a high standard of customer service and competitive pricing.
Polymark is proud to produce an Australian made product.

In the past businesses had a tendency to favour more traditional colours and styles when naming and/or advertising themselves. We were no exception until 1988 when we decided to get a new look.
A brighter and more modern image were our main concerns. We also wanted a logo that could be reproduced in a single colour as well as the full colour version which meant that we could use our logo on every item we wanted to, from coloured stationery and business cards right through to a simple black print on everyday items such as cartons without incurring cost concerns that came with coloured printing at that time.
The logo incorporates two elements - the Major Mitchell cockatoo and a "stamp" with the name POLYMARK inside it. We wanted a colourful Australiana element and felt that the cockatoo would give us that. We wanted a simpler element that we could use alone so chose the stamp and name combination to symbolize putting a stamp of quality on our products.
Over the last 17 years we have been pleased, and surprised, to find that our choices were well made. The cockatoo has been remembered by many people, some of whom still have the first business card that they received with the new logo on it. We often hear comments such as "I didn't want to throw it away as it was so different" or "I've never forgotten the bird". We also have many people who find it easy to remember us at reordering time because "your carton had that stamp on it so we knew where to find your contact details".
None of this seems as important today because we live in a different world where logos, signage, promotions and marketing all rely on the impact that colour and images bring. Maybe we were ahead of the times? We like to think that we were. We are pleased that our choices then are not outdated today and we have been able to make a smooth transition into the electronic age without the need to make changes. We are particularly pleased to have chosen the Major Mitchell cockatoo as it highlights us as an Australian company on the "world wide web" - which is a place that none of us gave any thought to when choosing a business name or approving logo art.
